Social initiatives

Snow Peak was born in Tsubame-Sanjo. We aim to contribute to the local community, and use this experience to engage in regional revitalization projects around Japan. Moreover, the products we sell can be used directly to provide support in the event of a disaster, and we actively engage in disaster support.

Contributing to the local community

Snow Peak was born in Tsubame-Sanjo, Niigata, a town internationally renowned for the processing of metals.
Our products are manufactured using these outstanding metal processing techniques, and we aim to contribute to the local community by spreading high-quality products, made possible through these processing techniques, across Japan and the world.

Consulting business regarding regional revitalization

Snow Peak Regional Revitalization Consulting, Inc., a subsidiary of Snow Peak, is engaged in regional revitalization based on the keywords "outdoor recreation," "camping" and "outdoor." Leveraging the Snow Peak brand and our diverse operational expertise, Snow Peak Regional Revitalization Consulting, Inc. converts vacant land held by local governments and companies around Japan into camping fields and glamping facilities, providing a mechanism for the renewed appreciation of regional attractions.

Disaster support

Based on our experience of disaster support, we believe that outdoor goods such as tents and sleeping bags can be useful at the initial stage after a disaster occurs. We provide items such as tents, shelters, mats, apparel, LED lights, etc., to help ensure victims' privacy and prevent economy class syndrome. We are also members of the Social Emergency Management Alliance (SEMA), a system to promptly provide necessary goods and services to affected areas in the event of a large-scale natural disaster in Japan, through cooperation between private-sector companies, NPOs, NGOs, etc. and citizen groups. We will work swiftly to provide a range of disaster support.
